Concrete Flooring Finishes

There are many residential and commercial unit looking for concrete finishes for their living room, design for office or reception, concrete finished space make the area looks grand and great. Concrete flooring also easy for cleaning and maintain.

Concrete slab after installation, need to polished till shine and all the aggregate and details can be easily see. The finished surface is like terrazzo flooring with with different colour by stone.

There is not painting on the surface, only sealers with a layer of coat that buff till dry. The concrete floor should be constructed while the housing build, the grinding and polishing can be done when the structure done.  Concrete floor finishes suitable to use for interior than exterior. We not recommend it for outdoor, bathrooms or garden.

The floor is durable, with natural colour, water proof if you seal the surface. The final finishes is smooth and highly recommend for not only floor but also table top. It may have crack line after installation as when the floor drying, the hairline crack will appear, and you may need to accept this as part of the natural process.

Concrete flooring is cement with aggregates, so the floor will looks gray and a bit blue sometime depends on the stone colour. It is the similar method to install the terrazzo flooring , the differences only the aggregate color and size.

If you having epoxy flooring now, and the paint keep peeling off, then you can ask for removed the epoxy paint by grinding it off, then grind to smooth and polish it to shining again.

Concrete flooring price is higher for around RM35-40/sqft for install and polishing, and the process may take up to 2 weeks for 1000sqft.  To produce a good concrete flooring, it involved mixing of cement, sand, aggregate, water and hardener.  For more information, please call us for more detail.
